Got terrible service. The people speaking English in front of us were given a table without a reservation. I asked for a table and the service staff said no. The French people behind us without a reservation were seated. I double checked and again and they said no. We walked back past (after having an excellent meal elsewhere) and the same server recognised us and pulled the door shut in my face. I have travelled extensively and never had such rude and obnoxious service. Put a dampener on our whole trip and totally ruined my impression of French service. Would not recommend. Fastfood being served while seated is the description that comes in mind. Staff is friendly and alert, but above all very quick. It feels like they want you out again as soon as possible. Furthermore the drinks are being served in plastic 'glasses' which does not add up to the experience. I can understand that they are doing this during peak hours in wintertime but please don't do this any other time.
