A lovely quiet oasis in a busy row of bars. Staff always friendly and welcoming when we visited on our short break in Lille. Great beer too. Definitely recommend a visit.

Avis mitigé car les cocktails sont très bon et originaux, j'ai adoré, mais l'ambiance est particulière, nous y sommes allé déguisés pour halloween et on nous regardait bizarre et le monsieur au bar nous a fait une remarque pas très sympathique sur nos costumes pas assez Halloween pour lui apparemment. Mais je reviendrais bien prendre un cocktail là bas car ils m'ont beaucoup plus 👍🏻👍🏻

I highly recommend this place either for a coffee or a beer 😁 The place is a bit small but has an amazing atmosphere. As you can see it is possible to play chess! As for prices, espresso costed 1,5€ and americano 2€. You have to try out the cherry beer (on the pic), best one I have ever tried! For 5€ 🍺 There is one...

I had to bridge 4 hours between meeting and accidentally ran into l'Illustration. It appeared to become one of the highlights of my visit to Lille! A very relaxed atmosphere indeed with an extremely nice barkeeper! When I would return to Lille, I'll be most definitely returning! Oh and not to forget very...

Although the do not serve food here, the variety of drinks is good. Piña colada is done in a different way than I am used to (way less milk, tastes like pineapw juice with alcohol), but wine is great, I can recommend Chardonnay and rosé. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, so definitely...
