Boulangerie - Pâtisserie - Confiserie "Brier" — Restaurant in Lille

We ordered two cappuccino and two galette flamande, which was recommended by a really friendly French lady that sit next to us. She told us that galette flamande is from Lille! At first we didn't expect a bread could be this tasty. After we took a bit, we really like the softness texture and the perfect sweetness for the galette flamande. If you ever visit here I highly recommend to try one! Moreover, the coffee was also very nice!

Service was good and staffs were nice. I brought two pastries for take out, one is a nutty flavour and another one is apple crumble flavour. Turns out to be great as well! I am very happy that my friend found this place!

The que for the normal store is long and should have stayed in it, but we thought sitting there would be nicer. Products probably good, but the part where you can sit is overly posh and priced accordingly. Payed €4,50 for a Belgian waffle that they warmed in the microwave. Payed €5,50 for a thee that was almost average and the cappuccino was awful. So advice, don't sit but have something from the normal store, according to the cue they sell nice things, but leave the sitting part for people who...

Surely one of these best bakeries in Lille. Difficult tot say what's is their specialty , I believe brioche bread or maybe sugar bread or raisin bread or baguettes ?? They show such as choice in bread , pastries and sweets that it's difficult tot choose. Anyhow , all is very fresh and thé service is very kind.
