Le 77 — Restaurant in Lyon

Breakfast buffet for guests at Hôtel Première Classe Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu (if included in your room booking although I'm sure you can request it if it isn't included in your booking). About EUR10.00 per night (my stay was for 3 nights). Simply sign in with the hostess and hit the buffet. The layout is such that you can basically start at whichever side of the buffet so hot or cold beverages or start off with the pastries section if you want. Everything was simple but very delicious! Location is good enough in terms of dining as a hotel guest (next door to the hôtel) so it isn't in the same building that your room is. I don't think I've ever come across such a setup in all my travels but it worked fine. There is outdoor and indoor seating. I sat inside as the seating seemed more comfortable inside. Service can be a bit slow so if you see that something at the buffet needs a refill just let the hostess or waitress know. The butter and pastries kept running out (of course) because they were so delicious. The fruit salad could've used more varieties of fresh fruit. I totally loved the pain au raisin, fresh bread with salty butter and of course Nutella (hazelnut spread). I also drank chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) since I don't think they had Earl Grey tea. I wouldn't stay at the hôtel again but I'd certainly come back here for the buffet breakfast! They are open for lunch and dinner...

En déplacement à Lyon pendant 2 mois j’ai eu l’occasion de tester ce restaurant à plusieurs reprises et le recommande vivement ! Le lieu est très agréable, avec une belle terrasse et une ambiance très sympathique et chaleureuse. Le restaurant propose une carte comprenant 7-8 entrées/plats/desserts qui varient régulièrement (à l’exception des entrées qui tournent moins souvent) à choisir à la carte ou au sein du menu. Je n’ai JAMAIS été déçu de ce qui m’a été servi. Je trouve les plats très abordables vu la quantité et la qualité de ce qui est proposé dans l’assiette ! Des soirées Afterwork sont également organisées régulièrement avec des planchas sucrées/salées de haut niveau.

À tous ces points forts viennent s’ajouter la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme du personnel (direction comme serveurs ou cuisiniers). L’équipe a toujours été souriante, dynamique, passionnée, à l’écoute et conciliante dans le seul but de satisfaire les clients...

Si vous passez à Lyon et ne savez pas où manger près de la gare c’est un lieu que je recommande à tous et que je ne manquerai pas de redécouvrir avec plaisir lors de mes prochains passages par...

Excellent address, the setting is very beautiful with the bar in the middle of the room and a green and pleasant outdoor space. The server offered my colleague to be able to change the dish if she really didn't like it, nice welcome. May be a small defect on the quantity of the dish of the day, I remained a little on my hunger when it was excellent!
