My girlfriend and I recently went on a trip throughout Italy and France, and I have to say our visit to Odessa was one of the best highlights of the trip. David and Robert, two of the proprietors of the place, were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Not only did they help us pick out great wines, but when we told them we were headed to Paris the next day, they gave us some great recommendations on wine bars to visit. Concernant les locaux en eux-mêmes : il s'agit d'un bar chaleureux, rustique mais accueillant. Vous serez pris en charge dès votre entrée par un serveur souriant et affable.

Concernant le diner j'ai décidé de prendre les oeufs mimosa en entrée et le burger français en plat. Le tout accompagné d'un verre de vin rouge au choix du serveur.

Ce dernier a eu l'amabilité de selectionner deux vins qu'il m'a fait gouter avant de choisir tout en prodiguant des conseils. Les deux vins étaient trés bon.

L'Entrée était succulante et bien assaisonée, accompagnée d'un excellent pain de campagne ce qui en fait un choix parfait que ce soit pour les petites comme pour les grandes faims.

Le burger était accompagné de pommes de terre sautées tres bien cuite et savoureuses. La mayonnaise était plutôt bonne sans pour autant faire décoller le papilles mais on en demande pas tant. Le burger en lui même était bon, le pain légérement croustillant était appreciable. J'ai personnellement trouvé que la viande et les garnitures manquaient d'assaisonements mais ça reste un trés bon burger.

Popped in here for a couple of glasses last week. Very cool, lively spot! It had that kind of energy you get in a good pub back here in Ireland, except with excellent natural wines. So what's not to love? :)

My only regret is that we didn't get to return for a second visit as planned, and try some food as well. But we will...
