Unfortunately quite disappointing. We had different types of ice cream. The chocolate was not really creamy and didn’t really have a chocolate taste. The stracciatella did not taste like much and was very watery. In addition the apricot was not good as well. The worst was the caramel ice cream which was so bitter that we just threw it away because no one wanted to eat it. Quite a shame if you pay 5€ for an ice cream. Also the other people that got their ice cream with us did not seem to like it that much. To sum up, you queue for an expensive ice cream that seems overhyped, because we couldn’t explain the overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Tried this place today based on the many good reviews. As said, the place is very clean, staff are nice, prices are reasonable.... But: the ice-cream texture is so soft that it melts very quickly, so you have to eat it in a rush, otherwise you'll find yourself scooping soupy ice-cream out of the bottom of the cup. Also, portion sizes are on the smaller side here, and finally, some flavours are really underwhelming: pistachio barely tastes of pistachio, for example. Welcome to one of the best (but probably The Best) ice cream shops in Lyon. Disclaimer: if you are looking for the typical "industrially made ice cream" with fat and sugar, stop reading this and turn away. Everything is made on site and we were really surprised that we could even see the ingredients being processed to make the ice cream!
