Hi y'all,
First of all Lyon is not a really great city but the experience at Rem's made it better. We were with two and ordered both a pizza. It was a nice pizza. All pizzas were between 9 and 15 euros. There was also option for burgers. The burgers only were from 20 to 25 fries not included so you had to pay 5 euros extra as a side dish. So for a burger and fries around 30 euros. Furthermore the beer. The beer was amazing. I am not an IPA fan but they gave me a little taste and ordered one #AMAZING. After this another Afligem blonde. During dinner they gave free cold water. Conclusion: good food for a fair price. At last but not least: Shout out to Carlonine & partner for great...
Read moreWe found this little spot our first night in Lyon and could not have been more pleased. When we arrived, Remi (the owner/boss man) was so nice and attentive. We had a couple of drinks and then had a couple of burgers and the Italian salad. My goodness! We're from Texas so we know good burgers and these burgers were fantastic!!! Remi was so kind to us given we speak very little French. He offered suggestions for places to visit while we were in town (he recommended Parc de la Tete d'Or) and his suggestions were spot on! If ever in Lyon, stop by Rem's... grab a beer, enjoy the people, eat a burger, and have a great time! Thank you for being so accommodating to these...
Read moreI'm giving 4 stars for the very friendly lady who made us feel welcomed . Beers where nice and cold , great little venue and view from the street . The burgers though i must say are 2-3 stars , not bad . But definitely room for improvement. My burger was drowning in sauce , so much so it was the only thing i could taste . The best bugers in the world all use Brioche and potato buns that are lightly toasted .( toasting them is very import for taste and structure or the burger , so it doesn't fall apart in your hands whilst eating )Rems buns/rolls where wholegrain stale and untoasted . The meat was cooked perfectly 👌 , fries where cold...
