In a nut shell…. Great wine, nice appetizer, my hubby had a “burger” with scallops and he said it was good. The issue was my entree. I ordered the steak and potatoes. The meal that arrived was not edible due to the amount of gristle and tough tissue throughout the cut of meat, which was an end cut of varied thickness. My steak knife could not cut, my husbands steak knife could not cut. It was a terrible cut of meat. When we told the manager that the meat was not ok for us, he became gruff and took the plate without any conversation. A few minutes later he returned with the same poor quality meat cut into bite size pieces. He was not happy. I immediately felt unwelcome and we asked another waitress for the bill. She returned, only saying “sorry for the meat”. We paid 93 euros and the restaurant did not...

I thought I had found an off-the-beaten-path gem, but found the food to be very disappointing. The food neither looked appealing nor was the quality outstanding. (Most of the posted photos were from years ago.) My roasted potatoes were seasoned with salt and flavor enhancer (probably MSG). Absolutely DREADFUL. Ordered the steak…it was the worst I’ve ever had. Tuff, full of gristle and uncuttable!!! It was obviously a bad piece of meat (and I guess that can happen). However how the manager dealt with the situation is what drove me mad. Explained the steak was un-eatable..so he took it away…and came back with the same steak cut up into bite sized pieces. Do NOT eat here…I’m sure the other 5 star reviews are from family...
