Restaurant La Part Des Anges - Mâcon — Restaurant in Mâcon

While the menu resembles the one of a creative parisian bistrot, meat/fish dishes with vegetables on the side, the quality of the food is not memorable. The wine list is standard as is the price, for the ingredients offered. The position is somewhat loud, being on the side of a trafficked road. Unfortunately the service was lacking because of a very long wait between dishes, definitely due to some problems in the kitchen. With a few improvements it can become a good restaurant, today it left us partially unsatisfied...

I hate France for making food too expensive and portions too big and cheesy. Europeans need to travel more and see how food in tourist places is not trying to shove their culture down everyone's throats but culturally they are way too rigid and harsh like their climate so I don't expect much.... Especially don't expect to visit again unless I have my own...

Service was very bad as server was arguing with chef throughout dinner hour. As we waited for check, server was more concerned with setting for next day than current customers. Also after second attempt she finally was trained in espresso making! Food was decent but not at all extraordinary. Much better offerings and attentive service...
