Aux Demoiselles du Mont — Restaurant in Marseille

I stumbled across this restaurant online when trying to find a restaurant that’s open on a Monday and serves escargot - as my boyfriend has never tried it before and wanted some before we left.

We are so happy we found this place! The interior of the restaurant felt like home. It was intimate, cozy and comfortable. The service was amazing. The menu was in French but the man (whom I assume is also the owner) who served us was able to translate and tell us all about the menu. The chef even came and checked on all the guests.

They were so sweet to bring out the dessert and sang happy birthday to my boyfriend. It made the evening incredibly special for us. Thank you ♥️

For our starters, we ordered the mussels in butter and parsley on top of lettuce and the escargot. Both were phenomenal!

For our main, we got the beef in black pepper sauce (it’s got a nice kick to it) and the stuffed rolled chicken. Again, delicious.

For dessert was get the tarta tatin. A bit sweet for me but it was tasty.

My boyfriend was singing praises for the food which is rare.

If and when we come back to Marseille, this would be one of the first few places we will return to.

My husband and I had a most delicious dinner here tonight. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two lovely women who went over the menu and made recommendations. This restaurant is intimate and cozy with only 8 tables so reservations are a necessity. The restaurant offers a 3 course menu for 29 euros which is an amazing value for the quality and quantity of food you receive. For starters, I had the scallops on salad and my husband had the salad with anchovies. For entrees, we had the chicken roll and sea bass.
