This cozy little coffee shop in Marseille is a hidden gem!

The coffee is exceptional, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible hospitality of the owner. Even though we arrived close to closing time, she welcomed us in with a warm smile and allowed us to enjoy our coffee at our leisure.

Really friendly owner who shared with us his life story and recommendations around the area. He roasts his own coffee too.

No wifi but he offered to let us use his personal hotspot from his phone. We got the latte with oat milk and V60 and enjoyed both! He also has almond milk, oat milk, soy milk and coconut milk. His mom makes the chocolate chip cookies (which taste like a shortbread with chocolate chips) and he gave us one on the house.

I ordered a latte for 4,5€ and got milk froth with coffee. There's certain rules to pouring milk in order to get a specific texture and mix of ingredients but this was not it, and it was not attempted at all. To be fair, the glass was very tall.

The place also felt extremely cramped, and whilst this is part of the experience, I'm not sure having someone sitting down right in front of the bar is the best outcome for everyone involved.
