Mouné — Restaurant in Marseille

What a special experience…. as much as I’d love to keep this address secret from tourists, I have to share that Mouné is the type of place that makes you fall back in love with France, eating, drinking, chatting with people, as much as it brings out this special soul of Marseille. The food there is unpretentious yet creative, every single dish was a delight, the razor clams were out this world. The owner is so welcoming you want to be his neighbor to see him every day. One of the best meals we’ve had in France in a while....

My dad’s family is from Lebanon and I was intrigued to try Lebanese food while visiting Marseille from the USA. Not only was the food amazing, but it was one of the best meals we had on our trip. The service was great and the owner was hilarious every time he stopped by our table.

We loved the grape leaves, the kebbe, baklava, and the salad. The grape leaves reminded me of my grandmothers so it was a lovely meal for me personally. If I didn’t live thousands of miles away, I would come here...

Amazing food! Loved every dish we tried today. Tasted excellent and even more so knowing a lot of it is handmade and all made with organic ingredients. The sucuk was a revelation, the falafel was amazing as well. Loved the baklava as well.

Thank you for the great experience and Especially for the nice service and great chat with the owner! Him and his wife are doing an outstanding job there. Just sad to not have this place in Munich … Will recommend it to any friend heading...
