A modern brasserie that recreates the traditional classics at a very good price in the heart of Marseille, a couple of minutes walking from the View Port.

Immaculate interiors Instagram pitch-perfect, we sat in a dust-pink round table overlooking the kitchen that felt too tight for 3.

We visited a week after the opening, as we are excited to try the new wave of brasseries finally opening in Marseille, and we found that both service and food needs balance and improvement: the Bloody Mary was off the charts spicy numbing our tongues (and I love picantes, chiles and all things very spicy), the beef tartar was ok but missing seasoning and not memorable, the Bavette was chewy and the béarnaise was unbalanced with a dominant acidity taste of cornichons.

We really enjoyed the onion soup and the sausage & mash while we found that the grandma recipe of the Cailletes in the starters was the best dish in the menu.

5-6 different people attended our table causing all sorts of confusion and repetitions. We changed one main because of the inclusion of an unannounced rocket salad (to which my wife is allergic) only to be served a sausage & mash topped with abundant rocket salad. The staff was sweet, energetic, young and friendly and really attended our needs with grace, but it felt front of house could provide a more positive experience with less people involved per table.

We will be back for cailletes and...

We had a delightful evening in this warm and friendly restaurant. A truly charming brasserie, perfect for enjoying a good time while sipping delicious cocktails! This amazing restaurant offers tasty French cuisine. Its commitment to fresh, local, and homemade products is palpable on the plate. The food is truly delicious, and the dishes are prepared with taste and generosity.

We first opted for snacks which were the oysters, Jesus and Truffle sausages which were divine. Then we had leeks with vinaigrette and pork jelly which were super tasty! As a main, I opted the flank steak with fries and my boyfriend took the tartare both were extremely delicious. It is VALUE for money in comparison with other restaurants. Moreover, the staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive and gives excellent advice.

We had a wonderful dining experience!

The French onion soup, a winter delight, is only available during the winter season.

Celia and Robin were incredibly attentive, ensuring our needs were met with genuine care. They truly are exceptional servers!

The tomato salad was absolutely stellar, and the desserts were a delicious treat.

Our meal for four came to around €96, making it a great value. Plus, it’s very kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for families. I highly recommend it!

We parked at “Parking Indigo Marseille Charles De Gaulle,” and the walking from the parking garage to the Brasserie took us as about...
