Fantastic sea food, very friendly service, and a wonderful selection of cakes! We got two fish and chips dishes: the one with the sardines was the best, and the chips is actually panisse, which was pretty good. For desert we got the "cafe gourmand" which is small pieces of each of their cakes. They were all delicious. The staff was very nice and spoke English with us when we needed to. The French toast (pains perdu) here might be the best bite of food I had in all of Marseille. Everything from scratch, husband-wife team, this is an absolute gem of a place. We stumbled upon it and, despite a city of other options, returned many (5-7 🤷‍♂️) times during a 3 night trip.
