Restaurant O'Parc — Restaurant in Marseille

This was my wife and I's second time at O'Parc and my only regret is that I haven’t visited more frequently. We went for lunch on the spur of the moment and arrived way too early for lunch, but we were still shown a table and ordered a drink until the kitchen opened. We were also given free croutons and tapenade to go with the drink we had ordered. When the kitchen did open, our waitress, Diane I believe, was professional, helpful and spoke English. Just a real treasure. My wife ordered calamari, while I had duck breast. Both were competently cooked and served. For dessert we shared apple tart, which tasted of apples, not just sugar; what a delight. To keep up the momentum, we both had coffee a d cognac and the manager brought us some free limoncello. An impressive experience! I came on a Monday afternoon and the place was packed! 🤯 So I knew it must be good. It had Outdoor seating both shaded and in the sunshine.

I ordered the salmon which is part of a lunch program they have to help people on their work break get a quick lunch in 45 minutes or less. It came almost immediately but still tasted very fresh and delicious! Props for being a healthy, balanced meal. It was incredible.

Je tenais à vous faire part de mon mécontentement suite à notre repas du midi d'aujourd'hui, que j'ai partagé avec mes collègues dans votre établissement. Habituellement, nous apprécions venir déjeuner chez vous, mais cette fois-ci, notre expérience a été loin d'être satisfaisante.

À chaque visite, nous sommes souvent placés près de la porte d'entrée, entre la cuisine et les toilettes, ce qui n'est pas des plus agréables. Je ne parlerai pas au nom de mes collègues, chacun ayant son propre avis, mais je suis certaine qu'ils partagent mon ressenti.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes arrivés au restaurant à 12h15, et à peine 13h00-13h15, on nous a demandé de libérer notre table de cinq réservée. Pour des clients fidèles qui viennent manger chez vous depuis deux ans, j'ai trouvé cette demande déplacée. Nous avons eu l'impression que notre présence n'était pas rentable pour vous et que vous préfériez installer d'autres clients à notre place. Ce geste m'a fortement contrariée et me pousse à ne plus revenir, car je me sens mal considérée.

Je tiens cependant à souligner que la cuisine reste excellente et que le reste du personnel est toujours souriant, respectueux et au top, ce qui m'a conduit à attribuer quatre étoiles malgré cette expérience...
