I am so sorry that I only discovered this place on my last night in Marseille. If I had found it sooner I would’ve eaten here many times during my trip. The food was so good! I wanted to try everything on the menu.
I had the medium chicken yassa dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the plantain, rice, sweet potatoes and fried onions - everything complimented eachother. Even the Bissau, hibiscus drink went down well. Very tasty.
To top it off, the staff were super sweet. Very nice guys. One of them spoke English, so we had a bit of a chat. They were all so welcoming. I felt happy to support especially with it being a black owned business.

The big Congo bowl was so much food I couldn’t finish, to have this plus dessert and a drink was only €17.90 - which seems like a steal for such high quality. Some of the drinks are cool and imported.
