If you're not French and if you don't order food for high prices it's definitely a place not to go. We had a seat for 3 which is given by the waitress and first we wanted to have some appetizers and drinks but she was beyond being rude. First she said she can't recommend any wine, then when I tried to order she said she knows her wine. Then, she wanted to change our seats because we're 3 people and she accepted new customers who were 3 people. Maybe we were not poshe enough for this woman with glasses but it's not a way to treat customers. Also in the beginning she told my friend to away from the exit while asking for a table and stand there. We just wanted to order some appetizers with drinks and order the main dish later but I think it was too much to ask with this rude person. It was the only bad experience we had in Marseille, and it was exactly the horror stories you hear with rudeness in restaurants. If you want to treated bad it's a perfect place to go, if you want to have a peaceful and enjoyable place to sit you should definitely avoid here. The lady with glasses you ruined my day and...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I believe that the vast majority of French people are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, this was not the case heRe.
I can’t speak for the food as we never actually had any. But what I can say is that we were running three minutes late to our reservation, I called the restaurant to tell them we were late and then they put me on hold.
Then, when we finally arrived, they told us that we were 20 minutes late, and only had a limited amount of time to eat, which we were totally fine with and understood.

After that we attempted to move our table, maybe 12 inches to be out of the sunlight, and then we’re told it’s not possible because people would be coming and going outside of the door, of which no one was coming and going. Only to be told that we can’t move it again and the sun will be gone in five minutes.
At that point, we just decided to leave because of the rude service. Which is really unfortunate as I was really looking to...
Read moreEntre Terre & Mer is an excellent Restaurant, nestled in the beautiful and vibrant Rue de Panier. Busy and full of life, sitting outside isn’t for those that want a quiet meal, (although we did) Booking in advance would likely remedy that with seating inside.
We shared a seafood platter, which was perfect for two. It was supremely delicious, being as fresh as it’s possible to get. The Oysters were big and creamy and sweet, the Prawns crunchy and bursting with flavour and there were a delightful assortment of Cockles and Whelks. The only thing missing was the Crab, which I would love to go back to try.
It was extremely busy when we went, and our order got somewhat lost for a bit. But the food was so good, it was an easy mistake to forgive. The staff were also very friendly, and made the effort to speak to us in English, and humoured our broken French.
All in all some of the best seafood I have had in France. Well worth a visit, and...
