McDonald's — Restaurant in Meaux

I disagree with the bad reviews. When we came at 10:30am on a Saturday when they weren't busy, we use the computer to enter our order and it came in 7min. Even though we chose English, it reverts to French when asking you if you want table service. You have to grab a numbered placard right in frontnof you and enter that number into the system to get table service. If you can't figure it out becuase you don't read French, just finish your order and go to the attendent and they can enter a number for you. Table service means they bring you your order, that's it.

The food was fine. The service was fine. The food was hot and above average compared to at home. The bacon blue cheeseburger was very expensive and probably not worth it. Fries, thin and wedges were perfectly acceptable. Double patty of Filet O fiah was normal.

We tried the sauces which was different. Flavors are more subdued, as you'd imagine in France. Since we can't get our hands on szechuan sauce at home, we tried the chinese sauce which was sweet and sour. It was good. The curry wasn't much different from that. Not much curry flavor.BBQ was okay but I prefer the American verson. The creamy white sauce didnt have much flavor and the pommes frites sauce was a dull mayonnaise based concoction. It isnt as bad as they say. Try the mccafe for a bit of novelty.

Didn't think I'd ever come to actually reviewing a McDonald's, but here it goes. About the one and only good thing about this filthy fast food chain was the "fast" part. And it seems now they have completely withdrawn the human element of the equation. Ordering is through a machine and then you have to actually figure out the process of collecting your food. Needless to say after spending 3.80, waiting 20 minutes, negotiating with several "staff" I left without my coffee. So now it's not even "fast",...

This is the WORST McDonald's on planet Earth!!! I could write a 100 page essay about the bad service, bad quality + overpriced menu. I don't understand why senior McDonald's management have not made undercover checks and closed the entire place down + fired all staff!!! The only positive is a modern design and cleanliness.. but everything else is a complete let down and rip-off... STAY AWAY AND SPEND YOUR...
