L'ami du pain — Restaurant in Metz

Oftentimes, the most surprising locations end up being the most delightful ones. For example, there's this charming bakery next to the Saint-Etienne de Metz Cathedral. We were surprised by the selection of freshly baked patries and baked pastries ready to eat, as well as Charlene's charismatic customer service upon our arrival.

While researching this local establishment that has been serving the community for more than 20 years, my family and I sampled a variety of their daily delicacies, taking the time to appreciate each flavor. This bakery was around the corner from us during our visit to Metz and quickly became our regular breakfast/snack spot. It’s cute and cosy with a good choice of baked goods despite its small size, both sweet and savoury options available. They are very friendly in there too!...
