What a great French local Montpellier experience. There was also a jazz trio that made me feel like I was back in NYC. Very smooth and cool. The service was relaxed, as usual in France. I had steak that was juicy and delicious. My wife had their special Lazagna. Although it's not really Italian lazagna, it was really good. Very large portion. Place is very relaxed and filled with local paintings that are also for sale. Kind of pricy for local art...around 1000e for a 24"x24" oil on canvas. We enjoyed ourselves so much, eating , drinking and listening to the best jazz we have heard in France so far. The jazz was in the style of Modern jazz quartet, although it was a trio, didnt miss the trap set. Coltrane, and other standards. Upright bass player sang really well in English.
