With only 2 Ethiopian options in Montpellier, my friends and I were nervous but this first of choices lived up to its name and rating!

The owner grew up in France, emigrated to the US (Atlanta, GA) for 17 years and moved back to share delicious food with locals. Very warm and welcoming, she chatted with every guest!

Africa offers many cuisines from many regions, but Ethiopian is one of our favorite due to a strong vegetable presence on every menu and deep flavor without being too spicy. The chicken dish was superb, the shiro (chickpea) very yummy. They make their injirah a little on the thinner side but you can easily order more for a very reasonable price.
