I had the most wonderful experience at Boulangerie Leyes on 43 Rue de Mulhouse, Saint-Louis, France! As soon as I walked in, the friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles, and they were so helpful in recommending their best bread and pastries.

Let me tell you, the moment I took a bite of their bread and croissants, I was transported to gastronomic heaven! The bread was crusty on the outside, yet so soft and flavorful inside. And those croissants, oh my goodness, they were perfectly flaky and buttery, leaving me craving for more.

But the true highlight for me was their “les eclairs.” Oh boy, these eclairs are an absolute must-try! The choux pastry was so light and airy, and the cream filling was simply divine. Topped with that rich glaze, it was pure bliss with every bite.

Not only was the taste exceptional, but the presentation was also top-notch. Each item looked like a work of art, making it even more enticing to indulge in.

Very unpleasant experience with the customer service, the ticket system doesn't work because personnel wants to serve people with later numbers before finishing with previous customers what creates a lot of pressure and stress.I was with a baby and a kid, I wanted to finish my order and leave asap but lady took another person in the middle and she was quite angry when I made a comment that I didn't finish my order.It was difficult to get out from the boolangerie with a trolley and a cake.Leyes doesn't manage well the queue and I had impressesion they don't cake at all about...

Be prepared to queue 10 mins on a Saturday morning. Close to the St Louis train station. They serve fresh breads, viennoiserie, pâtisserie, and ice cream. I think perhaps their breads are the best thing.

I enjoyed a fougasse (savory herbs twisted bread) which was a tad oily but nice. I also got a pistachio eclair and it was alright, but the chocolate/custard escargot aux pepites du chocolat was doughy and heavy. Perhaps I didn't order the best things but based on the popularity I'm sure other...
