The B&B rooms are part of the La Bistoure café/restaurant, and are literally part of the Porte du Bourguet entrance to the old town of Sommiere.||They found a safe spot for the bike and gave us the entry key codes. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.||The room itself was crazy and huge. It was enormous and looked on to the mainly pedestrian Rue Antonin Paris. With a four poster bed, 5 armchairs, two dining chairs, a desk, a bizarre stool and some other furniture, there was still plenty of room for us and our luggage.||Then there was the bathroom. It was large (in good proportion to the room) and had a basin, toilet and bath.||The bath was roll top with clawed feet. It wasn't well fixed to the floor or wall, so wobbled when you got in and out. Ah yes, the getting in and out... This was tricky as it was so tall. Remember when your mum put you in the bath and you thought you could swim forever, and couldn't see over the top? It was like that. The telephone style shower head sent jets of water in a variety of directions, some of which were into the bath..||This is a place for people who like a bit of quirkiness and a good laugh. The bed was comfortable and we had all we needed. It was very good value. If you are looking for shiny 5 star, then look elsewhere. If you want a bit of genuine Sommiere history, then look no further.||The breakfast was fine and the chap who looked after us was friendly...

I will say that the service staff were lovely and did their best. Thanks to them. That is where the good news ends.
It really isn’t ok to call yourself a restaurant and operate such a poor overall service.
Clearly isn’t organized very well. I could go on for ever about this but to keep it short : Very very slow service Couldn’t have pizza because the kitchen was overrun Drinks arrived after food Plates coming out one at a time Cold food Food not cooked enough Very very expensive for what it is Toilets dirty
I have never given 1 out of 5, even my kids were shocked and said it was worthy of one of those nightmare kitchen reality tv shows. When we paid no one asked how it was… I guess they know it was...
