Villa Curti — Restaurant in Nîmes

Would give 6 stars if I could. I do not speak French but that was not a problem, because they advised me the food and what to drink with it - It is very hot so I was feeling like a beer instead of wine. Louis was very helpful and Jonathan's service impeccable. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere is cool under a lovely illuminated vines. We had dinner here during with 44 degrees temperature on the terrasse and we asked for a fan or anything that could make our dinner more bearable as the heat was just unbearable . The owner just answered that heat was not his responsabiliy and he couldn’t do anything and that no Brumisateurs were available nor any fan nor anything and that heat was not his problem ! Absolutely no respect for clients … unreal Food was really not good and bill was overpriced...

Agréable restaurant, joliment couvert par quelques belles plantes, ce qui fait de l’ombre sur la terrasse. L’intérieur du restaurant est grand et il y a une boutique d’accessoires de cuisine. La cuisine est toute petite, il n’y a que le chef et une plongeuse, et deux serveurs seulement, ils ont donc un beau rendement pour des soirées à parfois 150 couverts! Les produits sont frais, bien travaillés et bien présentés, le goût est important et il est au rendez-vous! Petite mise en bouche avec un hummus pois chiche et aubergine. Entrée fois gras maison macéré dans le vin blanc plusieurs jours, il n’est donc pas trop fort en goût mais très subtil. Pour le plat j’ai pris l’espadon aux légumes croquants et riz noir grillé. Le pain au levain thym et romarin est délicieux et frais! L’assiette végétarienne est goûteuse et joliment présentée. Pour les quantités, on en a pour son argent! Niveau boissons, belle sélection de vins et des bières artisanales blonde, ambrée et blanche.
