A good experience overall, I'd have given it 5 stars if they hadn't taken forever to serve our food, funny enough they served quicker other people who arrived later, apparently there's been some confusion in the kitchen, staff was kind enough to apologize and recognize their error. Also food was excellent but my plate was so hot that the oil in it was splashing the place around, my shirt got stained as a memory.. Read moreOn July 9th, we were stranded when our train was suddenly cancelled due to fires in Marseille. As a family of four we were hungry and needed a place very close with WiFi & food to figure out our next steps. The nice young women at Grill Lounge had nice English and took care of us. We ordered a few tapas ( hummas & Tadziki) the entrecôte steak, I had the shrimp salad with avocado and my daughters had the kids pasta. The food was great, service was excellent, aircon was strong and we were able to borrow WiFi in peace as the train station was crazy- crowded and hot. The steak was cooked exactly as I asked (between signon and a point). The complementary tapenade was a delicious surprise. The pepper sauce was creamy peppery and delicious. The service was quick and friendly (I had my meal in under 15 minutes). I was also impressed by the table wine’s quality. Rich, structured, dry with a good fruit foundation and a medium finish.
