Very friendly welcome, I visited Narbonne with the idea of checking everything roman related that I could find, so got my ticket from Narbo Via. I loved the walk from the train station to the site itself. A quick introduction about the site can be found in the main hall. I can read french, but not everybody may do so, so I would recommend maybe putting something in English/Spanish as well. Down under is very well maintained, nice and cool on a hot summer day. Another recommendation would be to put some replica in some of the storage rooms to give a sense of how it would be back in the day; you could only see that at the end of the walk. Recommended if you are interested in the day to day of the roman city...

Came to Narbonne specifically to visit this well preserved Roman warehouse - and were NOT DISAPPOINTED! Absolutely AMAZING! But also very much impressed by the city centre of Narbonne. Didn't expect much as we planned to stay somewhere else, but so glad we came and had dinner outside along the river under trees! What a surprise. So happy we came. Narbonne will be remembered for a very long time. Come here and stay here -...

¿Qué vas a ver?

Fantastic and unexpected site. Many of the signs were in French and English which was great because data doesn't work so well underground in stone hallways. It was incredible to walk in the footsteps of first century Romans who would be storing goods here. We went to Narbonne Via after to see all the relics that had been sent to that museum.
