Aradhana — Restaurant in Nice

My friends and I had the most wonderful time at Aradhana. We visited last week for dinner, and everything was absolutely delicious. I mentioned to the chef, Shamila, that I’d been feeling a bit homesick and missing my Ammi’s cooking — especially her cashew curry and eggplant curry, which weren’t on the menu. Shamila kindly invited us to come back, promising to make them, and she truly delivered! The food was outstanding — full of authentic flavour and comfort. Not sure how to start this review but it must be said this restaurant just didn't deliver for us. The worst Indian experience ever. My chicken tika starter was a leg of chicken with no flavours whatsoever, the Samosa was dry and lacking a lot to be honest , the mains of chicken tikka masala and chicken madras were just about eatable and really tasted like they came from a good jar at best and not an Indian kitchen. We visited this place last year. The restaurant is run by a Srilankan family - very nice and kind people. The ambience will give you a glimpse of Indian Restaurant with Bollywood songs playing on Television. I can say their food is one of the most delicious and rich with Indian flavours which you will taste in whole of South of France.
