Given that there are almost no microbreweries in the Nice area, it is great that Blue Coast exists. Nevertheless, I would have to characterize the beer on site (we tried the IPA and blonde) to be very similar to most other french mircobreweries, which is somewhere between not bad and not good. The place is mostly a refurbished warehouse with a spartan indoor bar and outdoor terrace. The brewery, however, is located in the middle of nowhere and is somewhat confusing to access the first time, and unfortunately, there is nothing particularly welcome about the location or place. Read moreMy husband found this gem after wine tasting. This place is FANTASTIC!! It felt a little off the beaten path and more in an industrial area- but that only added to the authentic feeling. The staff were so kind and knowledgeable (spoke English as a bonus). They pulled out a table for us to sit outside, and had some table games to play. We live where there are a lot of breweries and it was so fun to try local beer! The Double IPA was so good! The Blonde is an easy drink on a warm day, and my husband enjoyed their Session Amber.
