Brasserie Gioffredo — Restaurant in Nice

This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. 2 ladies seem to run this Belle Epoque pub. The menu is limited but 2 of us had sole on the bone. A half minute over cooked and it's rubber. BUT this was perfect. A boiled potato drowned with butter (yum) and melange of spinach, courgettes and carrots accompanied it. We had a plate for the bone a quarter lemon. And a hand wipe. Good food with very good, dedicated service. The atmosphere was brilliant as well and was everything you'd want a French restaurant to be. Our host- I think his name was Roman/Romain- was very attentive and made sure we were looked after. The manager was nice and welcoming as well when we walked in.

There was a bit of confusion about the pricing of one of the items on the bill but they were so professional about it and just sorted it out without any fuss. Although the exterior of the restaurant is misleading, both the service and food, taste and quality, was horrendous. All three of the salads our table received had browned lettuce and borderline rotten vegetables. The calamari was not fresh at all and none of the food on the table was able to be finished.
