Foodie Nice, Brunch & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Nice

In all of my years of life I have never experienced a restaurant as horrible as this one. From the start it took 30 minutes to even get a waitress to come to our table (we asked multiple times) and then another 30 minutes to get our water and drinks we ordered. We had to pull the waitress aside and ask for our water and drinks after waiting 30 minutes because we had a plane to catch. Then our food came out, my friend ordered the avocado toast with salmon and it came with tomatoes. She was allergic to tomatoes and asked for them without but they put them on anyways. My friends chicken sandwhich had very obvious frozen chicken on stale bread and soggy fries. I also order a bagel sandwich. The salmon was the fishiest salmon I have ever eaten, the avocado was so hard , and the egg looked like a frozen egg they heated up in the microwave. The bread was also the weirdest bread I have ever tasted and stale as can be. My friend was able to get her avocado toast taken off of the check since she was allergic to tomatoes. I respectfully asked the waiter if there was any possibility I could also get mine off the check because it was visible that I had one bite of my food and seemed very unhappy. I understand it is the restraunts decision whether or not to refund me in this case, though the disrespect that the worker showed me after coming to them with my complaints was very aggressive and very unprofessional. He then started getting very angry and was raising his voice and showing me all of the people who had ordered the same dish today telling me none of them were unhappy. I did not even try to argue with this angry man. I said okay and went back to my seat and got ready to pay for my check even though I was very unhappy. He then came back over and repeated himself again raising his voice saying I was the only person who didn't like this dish, if I want to leave a bad review I can but I won't get a refund which I already told him I understood. This experience was genuinley nothing I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Horrible service, horrible food, and i advise you to never try this restaurant it is not worth your money or time. The reason why they have so many good stars is because they advertise this deal where you can give them a good review in exchange for something feee on the menu. The female waitress was nice, but it took 30 minutes for our drinks to come and they weren’t what we ordered. When we told the male waitress he said nothing and took them inside again and brought us the “right” drinks. (there werent any other costumers so i don’t know what could have took them this long) We ordered a COLD matcha and Chai latte wich were extremely Hot and didn’t taste good. When we told her that we want to have ice in them she told us they weren’t necessary but they were listed under the cold drinks so it IS necessary. We also ordered an iced latte wich was extremely sweet. In addition we also didn’t get any water to go with our drinks.

Very bad experience.

It started ok, our drinks came fast and were correct. Then we were waiting for the food for 35 minutes, looks like they forgot about us. When the food finally came, the waitress tried to smooth it up with some jokes, but we never got an apology. Then we ordered the second round of drinks and they again forgot about us, brought the drinks only after a reminder and they were wrong. Waitresses are kinda nice and I saw that other tables were mostly happy, but questions to how things are organised then and why orders get lost in transition. Food was very average btw, choose some...
