IBERICA comptoir — Restaurant in Nice

We are visiting Nice, France for a few days and came across this little gem of a Tapas restaurant. We were so excited as the reviews and food seemed amazing. We were definitely satisfied with the service and food. I usually rate and write google reviews and I have to say this restaurant gets a 5 star rating from service to presentation. The owner Philip was so approachable and friendly. He definitely made our night after traveling in France for the last 15 days we finally met a genuine person who took the time to explain his menu and make suggestions. As foreigners to France Philip made sure we felt right at home. His cooking is scrumptious and dessert was mouthwatering. We had an assortment of tapas and we had the coconut mousse with raspberry OMG delish. Prices are reasonable and service is amazing. I would eat here whenever I visit Nice. Iberica is one of a kind place to discover when in Nice. You’ll find some tourists but most of the customers are locals. This place never disappoints: tasty food, great service, nice seasonal menus, superb atmosphere, fun place au rendez vous! What else can you ask for?

As Philippe’s products are coming straight from Spain, I have also ordered some of his Lomo, amazing Patta Negra and Manchego to bring onboard my boss’ private jet. I think that says it all… you can taste the Spanish flavours in your plate.

You will discover a nice place to enjoy lunch and dinner where you can eat inside and on the terrace. He sometimes organises special dinner parties such as Paëlla, Soirée Basque, Cassoulet etc…

Great and friendly service, nice tapas and meals (try the croquetas de jamón iberico & grilled chorizo: to die for) !! Go and enjoy yourself; you won’t be disappointed!

We found this place by accident and wow were we lucky after all the pizza and pasta restaurants this was a welcome change. Real tapas small plates and huge flavors A great host in a lovely venue with a cool club next door. We tried a house selection tapas and then ordered more not because I was hungry just hugely impressed with the depth of flavors and greedy for more. Just a shame we go home the day after but this will be a guaranteed return. Many thanks for your hospitality Steve...
