Indigo — Restaurant in Nice

The pride of ownership and the in one’s craft shows in service, food, and atmosphere. Food made in extremely small batches and cut / mixed / cooked to order and with care and love and served with a smile and attentiveness and speed that makes one amazed given how many dishes this praiseworthy owner-operator-chef can crank out. A small but elegant and beautiful, nicely decorated avenue, it leaves little to desire. We ordered all manner of appetizers and barbecue elements off the menu and not a single dish disappointed.

Most notable were the hummus and tabbouleh. The hummus is made several times a day in very small batches which is practically unheard off. Smooth, the right balance of fat and acidity, and good deep authentic flavors. The tabbouleh was cut dresses right there and then, you could practically see the recent knife work. World class.

Highly recommend this place. My friends and family will be frequenting this establishment anytime...

Avoid, avoid! Very disappointing and rude service! After reading all the good reviews, myself and friends decided to check it out. From the first arrival we were told off by a very grumpy man, for sitting at the table outside. Apparently the french culture forbids you from taking a sit before you being offered on! (Or is it not speaking French!?) When I asked to communicate in English language (as I don’t speak beautiful French language unfortunately) iv been questioned regarding other languages I would be able to speak ( rather racist comment) We really tried to let this disgusting behaviour go due to possible language barier! but than, after ordering a beer we were told 3 times that the bar was across the street! I cannot say enough good things about Indigo. The food is truly phenomenal — Yam makes everything fresh after you order including the salad. The salad dressing is delicious, and the hummus and falafel are the best I have ever had. We tried many things on the menu: shawarma, hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, chicken salad, and halloumi salad. They were all incredible. Yam is so kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain every item on the menu in English. You will not be disappointed stopping here to eat.
