Kiosque tintin — Restaurant in Nice

Ask for anchovies or olives if you want them on or in your sandwiches and onion tart. Even though it's usually the olives are already in the Pan bagnat ... At tintin kiosque, they don't have it already inside . Even though usually the anchovies are on top of the pissaladière ... They don't have it made like this here.

It is a disappointment because there were no signage or verbal ask if I wanted anchovies and olives in the items when I ordered. I assumed those two items are local specialties and those ingredients are key to the dish. They also serve it cold. Maybe if you asked them they would heat it up.

It DEF could have been a 4 star if they were to take the advice to ask customers or have a sign about ordering anchovies and olives and heating up if they cared to. But honestly I don't think they want to change. The bakery near to our Airbnb/ hotels have the anchovies and olives in their respective dishes.

Now disregarding those points let's talk about the items: The bread was pretty tough. I don't know if it was stale, but heating it may have helped. The salad inside was fresh and crunchy with celery , tomatoes, egg, and shredded tuna.

The tourte aux blettes has pine nuts and swiss chard and cheese inside the sweet pastry.

What’s most attractive about TinTin is undoubtedly the affordability of the kiosk’s Nicoise sandwiches and snacks. It’s difficult to find food that’s as easy on the wallet in Nice and indeed, harder still to enjoy your food in such an enjoyable, bustling outdoor seating area. Seats go fast on sunny days but if you’re willing to wait, you’ll find a spot. The only downside to our experience was that the baguette was quite hard and thus, difficult to eat. We came here for the pan bagnet as we heard this was the place to come. This place is a kiosk. They have lots of outside seating. Had the pan bagnat with a glass of rose wine. Really delicious. It come in a paper bag. The sandwich has olive oil in so I recommend eating it over the bag as the oil drips out. The sandwich is really good with lots of flavours and tastes so fresh.
