Kruathai — Restaurant in Nice

My mother really wanted Asian food and I noticed this place was highly rated, and for good reason. We ordered the grilled chicken(served with a sweet spicy dipping sauce which was perfect) , Papaya salad(I ordered it a little spicy and it came out rather spicy!), and green curry(creamy, savory, sweet, and delicious!), all of which were incredible, and tasted just like what my old Thai temple used to make! They also have sticky rice, which, in my experience in America, is rather rare! The food was spot on in flavors, and beware if you ask for spicy, because they know spicy. The prices are fair, though the portions are on the smaller side, which I think would be just right for people who are traveling and eat light but tasty. I highly recommend this place to anyone from Thailand, or any American used to Thai food...

We went to Kruathai in June. We have ordered several dishes to share, Som Tam(papaya salad), Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Thai fried rice, Raw shrimps with spicy sauce, Holy basil&pork stir fry, and Larb moo(spicy minced pork salad). We told the waitress when we ordered that we love spicy+++++++++ They prepared every dish perfectly, the way we love it VERY VERY spicy. Everything was very tasty and delicious, a real authentic thai taste:) Don't forget to mention to the waitress when you order if you want spicy or not spicy etc.. So they can prepare your food the way you like it. I would recommend anyone who are in Nice and craving for thai food to try this place! Try any of those dishes I wrote above, you won't be disappointed! The young waitress is very lovely...

We had an amazing lunch here! We visited Thailand about 6 months ago and have been craving those authentic flavours and simple preparation that we enjoyed so much while we were there, but it can be hard to find in France!

This place brought us right back, the basilic Thai (pad kra pow) with beef was amazing, great spice and flavour. The Pad See Ew also hit the spot.

We were craving Thai iced tea but did not see it on the menu, when we asked the extremely kind gentleman who served us our food, his eyes lit up and he made some for us right away, from the staffs personal stash.
