During our short visit to Nice with family, we had the pleasure of experiencing Iftar at La Medina Gastronomique, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. The food was exceptional—authentic, rich in flavor, and perfectly spiced, just like the traditional Aassimi dishes. This charming, family-owned restaurant offers not only delicious homemade Algerian cuisine but also warm hospitality, as the owners themselves take care of both the food and service. Their passion for their craft is evident in every bite and every interaction. If you’re in Nice and looking for authentic Halal Algerian food, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

You could easily walk past this place thinking it’s another shawarma join! DON’T! The owner is super enthusiastic about his food and it’s all home made from scratch! You have to try the CHAKHCHOUKHA BISKRIA, it’s a super thin semolina noodle or maybe bread? It comes with choice of veg or Meat, and sauce.. different and delicious! Was a lovely dining experience.

Nous avons mangé en couple hier dans ce restaurant algérien avec notre bébé, et tout était parfait du début à la fin ! Le personnel nous a accueillis à merveille, avec une grande gentillesse et beaucoup d’attention. En entrée, nous avons pris des bourek et une salade mechouia, piquante juste comme il faut — un vrai régal. Les plats principaux étaient copieux, généreux et tellement savoureux qu’on n’a même pas réussi à tout finir, alors que nous sommes de bons mangeurs ! L’ambiance était apaisante et magnifique, idéale pour un bon moment en famille. Merci encore à toute l’équipe pour cette belle expérience culinaire ❤️ Nous recommandons ce restaurant à 100 % ! 🇩🇿🍽️
