Pastries that are stale, flavorless, and disappointing. I stopped here after reading the “great reviews” and left wondering how they could possibly be so misleading.
I’ve been on a 30-day road trip from Madrid, visiting over two dozen bakeries and cafés around Spain and France, and this is the only one I felt compelled to leave a poor review for. That alone says a lot.
• The almond croissant was hard, stale, and tasted days old. • The pistachio croissant was worse. artificial, unpleasant, and nowhere near real pistachio. • The brioche was bland and stiff. • And the espresso? Burnt, bitter, and undrinkable.
