Plage Publique Magnan — Attraction in Nice

Beautiful blue water to look at, but as far as enjoying the beach itself, I wouldn't recommend this place or the vast majority of Nice beaches. The beach is mostly large stones, which makes it incredibly uncomfortable to sunbathe. The current is also quite strong, which means floating for five minutes can take you 20 to 30 feet from where you started. This is a beautiful beach. Clear blue water... it is a pebble beach so get ready. There isn't much shade and we couldn't find a place to rent umbrellas, etc from. People here came prepared. There is a shower where you can cool off or just wash off the beach water... It was a really hot day and one of the days I had sweat pouring down... As far as the view goes, the beach is stunning - I have never seen such blue water before - photos do not do it justice. But if you want to sunbath - don't do it.
