Le Flowers — Restaurant in Nice

A fresh, floral atmosphere. The food is tasty, with a creative mix of flavours. The cheesecake was awesome.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service. First of all, the tables got cleaned with a smelly cloth leaving it with a strange odour. The gentleman who was taking care of me promised me a special white wine called Bout d'Amour, but brought me rosé instead and asked if I liked it(smiling at me). I said yes because I didn't want to be impolite in front of the other guests, and I didn't want to prolong the conversation because he had bad breath.

When I settled the bill, I mentioned that I had been given rosé instead of the white wine, and he had the audacity to tell (screening me from head to toe) that they were the same instead of apologising for bringing the wrong one.

Although I am not owning a vineyard, I have some basic knowledge, and a white wine and a rosé are NOT the same. I felt like I had been fooled in a cheap way but I wasn't in the mood for drama - so I paid and left the flowery place with a withered feeling.

Is this french culture? I dont think so.

We visited this place twice with our family for a late breakfast. They served fresh bread with butter and marmalade, cappuccinos, freshly squeezed orange juice, salad, scrambled eggs with bacon, avocado toast, and freshly made pancakes. Everything was delicious and even cheaper than the basic buffet breakfast at our hotel.
