Very, very overrated place. People need to stop :p
There was a queue at first so we were excited, but the food was just okay at best. I don't understand how every comment says the food is "so delicious": it's not. Don't get me wrong it's not exactly bad either. The meat (in very small quantities) is the only memorable part. The noodles are industrial (like the ones we make at home and buy in Monoprix). They tossed some arugula (roquette) leaves, that I usually like but they were bitter.
We ordered dessert (matcha mocchi). Here again, not bad but not memorable either.
The owner came and asked us if we wanted coffee, we said no. And he said literally: please leave now to make room for the next customers.
Yeah okay we love Japanese food, but we need to stop supporting such businesses who don't make any effort into the food quality.
There are so many better restaurants in the same street.

Not in the picture, but we also ordered a bowl of buta shio (pork, salty soup) ramen and fried gyoza 🥟, which were also good but not mind-blowing. The pork-based soup still has a meaty smell. The fried gyoza was well fried with crunchy skin and yummy filling mixed with napa cabbage.
A good option when you‘re craving a hearty bowl of ramen after a whole day of playing at...
Read moreOur favorite ramen place in Nice. The ramen bowls are in normal and XL size. Normal ones are ok for everyone, go for XL if you are really hungry or have a big appetite. But if you take a starter (I love the fried gyoza), the normal ramen bowls are more than enough. My fav is the miso ramen. For dessert they have the matcha mochi or daifuku. For 4 persons we payed 100€, very good value for money. Highly recommended, but there is no reservation possible, we went there before opening at 19:30 and queued outside (at 19:20) to have a 4pers table. If you are 2 persons only, it is easier to find a...
