We were tourists visiting nice in summer holiday. I'm into cats very much and I discovered this cat cafe. So I told my mum, who is an elderly woman, using a stick to balance her walk, to take an uber and visit this cat cafe. We haven't got much time to waste as tourist, but I prefered to visit the cafe. Anyways upon arrival the waiter came up to us and we asked for a table. He said that they are full and he wouldn't know how long it would take for a table to be free. 30 mins or more. I asked him nicely if he could provide my elderly mum with a chair whilst our turn comes up. He told us to wait outside in the scorching heat. It was a very hot day. I told him that I will sit outside but at least let the elderly woman sit indoors. He kept repeating no, looked at his co worker and repeated no. As if she would sufficate the place. He was like, its too cramped I can't. I got very upset, no sympathy and no humanity for an elderly who has difficulty walking. Even the people sitting down wanted to make space on the bench. But, he refused and just like that as if asking us to leave we had to order another uber to go somewhere else! Love, sympathy and respect towards any creature goes hand in hand. Without it there is no humanity and these people were so cold and heartless. I felt bad for dragging her with me to this cafe. I would give one star to the...
Read moreVery bad service, we waited a long time before they served us for the waiter to explain that there was no bagels left!!! Hardly anything on the menu was left!! The waiter pointed to the menu telling us they only had toasties left so between myself and my two teens we agreed. To our shock they came out with two slices of cheese ham toast to share between the three of us!!! Not what we want before our flight to share two slices of toast between the three of us and because my son wanted ham on his so he had it to himself as myself and my other son do not like meat. My son said it tasted bland and didn’t fill him up so definitely wouldn’t for the three of us. I was even more shocked when the bill was £23 for toast and three glasses of water. The only thing that saved the cafe was the cats but other than that it was not what...
Read moreIt wasn’t open when it was supposed to, we showed up at around 2-3 pm during open hours on a Saturday. It said it was closed, we saw one of the cats laying lazily in the sun at the front but it was chained off and had a sign saying “closed”… would have gone there, and I wish I could have met all the cats and had a drink and some food there but sadly couldn’t. I can’t say it’s bad, as they could have forgotten to update it on the web, but it also said it on the front. Should have been open, and nothing was explained as to why it was closed. Next time I come to nice I will try again and write another review but for now I can’t rate it bad but I also can’t say it’s good as there was no explanation. Also! Pointer: they changed their logo so it’s an...
