Update: After complaining we received a sincerely meant apology and then we went again for lunch where the service was excellent, therefore combined with the good food I correct it up to 4 (before it was 2) of 5.

Original comment: Good food and stunning view. The service is generally friendly at the table, but as I stayed in the hotel I ate there once for lunch and once for dinner. And I was not satisfied at all.

Lunch: Exactly 25min until we could order after receiving the menu and me asking to order the first time... i had to ask 3 times (people in charge!) until we could give our order. Food arrived promptly and in a good quality. Unfortunately to get the bill it took again Super long -even worse than before: 30min. And also asking 3 times for it. I asked the first time whilst ordering dessert and specifically said that I want the bill with the coffee and dessert.... obviously did not happen that way.

Dinner: we arrived precisely 10min. Late - which I announced 30-40min prior by calling them. I was told, that we really have to Be there then and not later. Okay. But then when we arrived, our table did not have waterglasses for 3 of 4 people and lacking napkins for 2 of 4 people.. so rather instead of stressing they should rather be properly prepared. Overall, despite the amazing view and the good (not great, but really pleasant) food we were not really happy & therefore we will not go there anymore.

Further disappointment: on their wine list they charge at least an exorbitant 200% on top of the commercial price of a red wine. Sometimes even worse, e.g. domaine chevalier rouge 2009, 80 Euros in store, 370 Euros there. And remember it’s a french wine in france. What’s the excuse for this? I can accept it in the 2 star restaurant but not in a rather simple restaurant where they serve this kind of wine and more expensive ones in cheap Schott Zwiesel glass (which cannot be changed to the existing Zalto from The 2 star restaurant upon request).. incredible to be honest.

Another thing: on there menu they offer ruinart rosé by the glass. But as we were the last table they didn’t want to open it anymore for 4 glasses - which technically by law is not allowed but at this point I just gave up on having a...

OMG!!! After reading much about the chef, then food and the view at this celebrated resort and sister restaurant to the Chèvre d’Or, we booked a table for a special night during our trip to the Côte d’Azur. This was a mistake! The staff though working hard and the food good (not great) could not salvage the night from so many operational issues….. those including drink orders delivered 20 minutes late, seating 2 hours after reservation time even with tables open, food delivered in error and a room that was out of the late 90’s with poor chairs, broken tables and a very tired decor. Thankfully the view outside was nice to distract us for a short period of this establishment’s very poor management. We had originally planned to book for the more celebrated Chèvre d’Or restaurant upstairs but had chosen to attend Les Remparts instead as we preferred their lighter a la cart menu, and only hope this might not apply to the entire resort. Regardless, this is shameful as in spite of booking and attending 5 star restaurants in Paris the week before and having this restaurant demand a very high credit charge for cancellation before attending, we were offered at best some free coffee and an apology from our waiter who was trying to maintain some integrity to the operation. The resort and this restaurant must do better and correct this disaster, As its patrons and staff deserve better and if they cannot provide a 5 star service…. Please don’t charge 5 star prices…. It is an embarrassment for everyone...

Anyone who thinks the food here is good is telling themselves a lie. Amazing hotel and views - go there for a drink and skip the food. We ate at many places in france, including local spots and michelin-starred alike and this was the worst food amongst all of it. If it wasnt a special night for me and my wife, I would’ve complained, but I didn’t want to spoil the experience.

Here is the review of what we ate: Buratta salad was good open crab ravioli was a paper thin piece of edible paper with a cold pile of unseasoned crab mush thrown on top. Fresh but basic and bland. Veal medallion cold and weird. Potatoes on the side were steamed with no texture and smothered in anchovy butter. It was all disgusting lobster pasta was mush - not al dente at all, and seemd to have only one flavor - overwhelmed with tarragon. Unedible. had homeade ice cream. Almost cracked a tooth since it had the surpise of an ice chunk on second bite. Disnt taste that good either they also served at the end a raw sugar cookie which was unlike anything weve ever had. The worst dessert bite of all time maybe :)

Disgusted by the bill, and gave some hints (the uneaten food shoulve been a clue).

Never again, this restaurant does not desevre such a...

Lovely venue, great service, food was underwhelming to say the least. Went on a Sunday evening. We had an 8:15 reservation, but got to Eze so early that we went by to see if we could get a drink early. Luckily enough they were able to seat us an hour earlier than our reservation. The staff were friendly and attentive. We shared a truffle soufflé app, which was lovely. For mains, we had lamb (?) shoulder and the lobster pasta. Both were lukewarm at best. The lobster was bitter and not good for 65 Euro. The meat dish was fine, but nothing special. Dessert we shared pistachio pastry. Hard like a nature valley bar on the bottom and way too much orange blossom water or something. Go for the view or maybe the michelin restaurant is better, but not worth the trip. Oh and if you're not staying in town, make sure you pre-book a car or drive. There is nothing here past 9pm.

First of all, the view is amazing and the deserts are absolutely delicious. You will have a great experience, however don’t make the same mistake as we did: don’t be shy to ask for the price when they propose something that is not on the menu. We’ve ended paying 140€ for a sole, when their most expensive dish on the menu is somewhere around 47€. And to continue, they obviously proposed the most expensive wine glass they had in the menu, 29€... It is somehow my fault for not asking/not checking but we’ve ended paying around 250€ for two, and we only had one wine glass... for this price we could have had a Michelin menu. I still keep a good memory about our diner and will definitely return. Next time it will be a 5/5.
