Monte Carlo Masters is so far one of the most beautiful tournament I have been but I truly didn’t enjoy till almost the end the pesky and large Italian crowds. I experienced them having little boundaries like squeezing you in your seat, making longish phone calls during a match, being overly loud, talking a lot and generally dominating the place and turning into hooligans when they had a national interest. Interestingly the German speaking player from far North-Italy only got their attention in the same manner, once the real Italians were out of the tournament. During this match the other player took on this crowd and gave them a valuable lesson. The “Great Dane” got really on fire by their shoutings and more determined to win the match which he eventually did. What a great tournament this has been. C...
