I usually donât write bad reviews for restaurants because I can stomach the occasional bad service here and there, but this was so jarring that I had to write it.
I walked into this restaurant (12:30pm on a weekday, spot was basically empty) expecting to sit down and enjoy some a nice bowl of Pho. The old guy with white hair and the beer belly who was in the front with the white hair was not initially rude but also not the most inviting person; being from NY that didnât really bother me that much. He sat me down and when I tried to ask for the wifi password that old man started yelling at me like I was his child saying he doesnât have time and that he is busy, (the front door has a giant sign that says âFREE WIFIâ). I was taken aback by that because the restaurant didnt have that many people in it, what could he be so busy with? So I thought maybe he thought I didnât speak French, so I go up to the front and ask him the question again. There he is standing there not looking busy and he yelled again âmonsieur, jai pas le temp!!â At that point I was so angry that I picked up my stuff and left for the Chinese restaurant up the block where that lady was so nice and charming.
I donât want to assume the worst in people so I will keep my ideas to myself as to the reason for this treatment but man, if you have a business at least put someone inviting in the front. Now that guy could very well have been the owner or the ownerâs dad or family...
Read moreThe waiter was really kind, but interrupted our order about 3-4 times because new guests walked in, the phone rang and one time he only walked away for now reason. There was another waiter, so I don't understand why he interrupted so much. But okay, it was funny at the beginning. The restaurant is really cozy and has much lights. Would not recommend for people with epilepsy đ We ordered a cocktail and received a bigger version of a shot glass. đ€đ» Unfortunately there had been no starters and meals for vegetarians. We ordered summer rolls without meat and seafood and the waiter could not understand and at first it seemed to be a problem. We also ordered fried noodles with and without chicken. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! The noodles had been dry. Dry and hard. Like yum-yum soup noodles before you cook them. Gladly I had some sauce, so my noodles could soften a little bit, but my friend had zero sauce (she had the same meal, just without chicken). We asked the waiter if this was a mistake and the cook forgot to cook the noodles, but he explained that this is correct and fried noodles are like that. Next time, we should try the spaghetti, he recommended. We said that we're not happy with the meal, but no reaction. We paid and left to go to...
