Restaurant O’Staff was, unfortunately, a real letdown during our stay in Nice. When we arrived for dinner, only two staff members were running the entire service—the chef and the waiter. At first, I assumed it was because we were slightly early for dinner, but as the evening went on and the place filled up, it became clear this was just how they operated.

With only a single waiter managing a full house and the chef alone in the kitchen, the service was understandably slow. What really spoiled the experience, though, was the constant shouting between the chef and the waiter. It wasn't just typical kitchen chatter—it was full-blown arguments, and the tension was palpable throughout the dining room. It made for an uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere, which definitely took away from what should have been a relaxed meal.

Sadly, the food didn’t make up for the atmosphere. We had been so looking forward to enjoying authentic French cuisine during our short visit, but what we were served was average at best. The dishes lacked flavor and flair, leaving us quite underwhelmed. In a city known for its incredible food, this felt like a missed opportunity.

Overall, while we appreciated the hard work of a small team, the stressful vibe, lackluster food, and slow service made this an experience we wouldn’t want to repeat. I’d recommend exploring the many other wonderful dining options Nice...

Only 3 members of staff between the 2 restaurants, and our food was delayed because to many people were ordering pizzas, but they never came out to tell us that they would be delayed and we would have to wait another 30 minutes for our food, and the people we were eating with food went cold because they waited for our food. I received the wrong pizza after waiting, the starter came without bread, and the steak without sauce. There was also a man with a guitar who was playing the Beatles repeatedly, and was annoying everyone who was seated outside, before going inside, and irritating everybody inside aswell.

People who arrived after us got their order first and the very kind waitress who served us had no experience serving before and it was her first day on the job. The manager was not there aswell. They then charged us the full amount, even after us telling them it wasn’t fair compensation for their horrible work.

I agree with those who are saying the food is good, but I think the time over rules it in this case. I went for dinner and this restaurant opens at seven, so we had to wait, and left around 9, mainly because of the food delay. From the other reviews, I don’t think this place has improved at all over the span of 5-6 years. I think it has gotten worse, as 5 star reviews just say good food...

We dined here because we just wanted dinner, and everything else was closed. There were only 3 waiters, and they were very sweet but they seemed to be working O’staff and the restaurant next door so they were busy. The food was not good. Bland and dry. The waiting time was long, we got there at 7:40pm left at 10pm. Again waiters were sweet, but the owner lacks skills in customer service. A family of 4 who were sat around the same time as us left because after over an hour they had only received their drinks, and the owner didn’t handle it well. He made the situation worse by pushing the woman’s patience with being slightly aggressive in trying to convince them to stay. All in all, there is definitely better places to dine in, maybe for drinks and just passing the time...
