What a great idea! So clever, amazing zero waste picnic box for lazy riverside lunches, or eat-in if you prefer. My friend and I stumbled across Bocaux de Liens on a lunchtime endeavour in Brantome and were delighted with the find. The food options were carefully explained to us, we were able to try some wines on offer, and after making a selection enjoyed a delicious picnic in the park. The owner was incredibly lovely and charming - and we could tell he really took pride in the concept of this delightful space. We were a little unsure at first because it isn't like anything we have come across before; you buy food in glass jars and it is heated (or if you sit in the adjacent room you heat it yourself) and then grab a seat.
