I had such high hopes for this new restaurant, but sadly it didnât even come close to fulfilling them. The main room, whist stylish and cosy is far too cramped meaning that you have to move an entire table out to allow the other half of the party out to visit the bathroom.
The wine list is sparse, and frankly poor (our wine weighing in at c.30âŹ) was highly acidic and lacked any finesse whatsoever, however whatâs worse is being told that Lambrusco is the same as Prosecco (which they unbelievably donât serve) from an in-over-her-head waitress.
We ordered one calzone picante (without onions) and one other regular pizza with ham, egg, mushroom and peas. The regular style pizza was terribly dry and lacked any flavour outside of the toppings, and the calzone, whilst satisfying in the centre, was more dough than anything else - it was also chock full of onions, even though clearly asked for without.
Itâs difficult to find anything particularly good to say about this new restaurant other than it is new, clean and quite romantic in a way, but tragically lacking in its delivery.
If youâre in the area and in the mood for a decent pizza, swerve Amore Mio. Bricktop pizza is superior and more authentic (in my opinion) in every way and is just...

Hands down the best Margherita pizza in Paris. Also what can I say about the Ravioli and Lasagna, Mamma Mia! Also if you're not having alcohol, they serve some amazing coffee and soft drinks. The ginger-lemonade soda from Italy is just too good to describe in words. Amongst the desserts, the pistachio tiramisu is to die for!
Amore mio was the only restaurant I visited repeatedly whilst in Paris for a few weeks. The food, the ambiance and the service are hard to be beat. They made me feel right at home.
A special mention to belissima Giorgia, she is simply a wonderful host and the most hard-working and sincere manager I've seen at any restaurant. Her hospitality made me regret not being a permanent resident of Paris and having to leave the city!
Most definitely will return here on my every visit to Paris hereafter. 100% recommend to everyone reading this review. You can come back and thank me later. Ciao and...
Read moreThank you for the best italian pizza&pasta outside Italy ever since. So happy we found this location, where italian staff serve italian 'dolce vita'.
Fabulous pizza, friendly service, great bruschetta and probably the best panna cotta I tasted in my life.
No. I am no staff member, family member or paid for my words. I am just a visitor who will return every time I come to Paris in the future.
If you want to taste what a real italian pizza and other dishes from the land between adriatic sea and mediterrenean should be like, you should visit this place.
Grazie mille per...
