We saw many ads on social medias mentioning this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try, and…. We were quite disappointed.
First: the music. Raï is not the kind of music families are listening together while eating, especially with kids. I think it does not really fit what the place. Even if we like raï, it is just not giving the right atmosphere.
Second, and most important thing: the food quality. The soup, there was only Chorba, with meat inside. The smell of meat was too strong for us. The tuna brick, there was a very strong smell and taste, not sure what it was. We chose tuna as we couldn’t eat the meat from this place, yet the taste was really strong and not good. We couldn’t take more than 1 bite. Maybe there was an ingredient too old, not sure though. The vegetarian couscous, this is simply not vegetarian. So please change the name on the menu or do a real vegetarian.by the smell, I understood that there is meat in the sauce, but I also found some meat pieces in my plate, so it confirmed. This is the disrespectful for me, if I buy vegetarian, that means there is a reason why i don’t want to eat meat. Lying to people is the worst thing. Same as when people lie about halal meat, doing it with vegetarian stuff is as bad. Please change it because now it is a duty for us to say it, and protect people from being fooled. I think you didn’t do it on purpose but you don’t take it seriously while it is. It is our right to refuse eating meat and we should never be forced. Also one thing to mention is the vegetarian couscous for 2 was small. the tea, it was free so thanks, but just so you know, to please more people, it would be nice to put the sugar or honey in the side so that we choose how much we want in. This is just suggestions to please the majority. In conclusion, we didn’t like the food. But it could easily change if the menu was reflecting the reality. As at least we would have what we expected
Third: the service. It was good, at least our waiter was. He was kind, professional, and doing his best. He even offered us to remove the brick that we didn’t like, but we said no cause we aren’t trying to get discount. Still it was kind. But at the till, the atmosphere is quite different, the man at the till and all others are not nice, look at people in a pretty bad way. Honestly I don’t understand. We come to your restaurant to enjoy a moment and also because we prefer to give our money to support restaurant like yours, yet you don’t do efforts and don’t really care.
Very disappointed but we hope you will...
Read moreI love meat and I was craving for meat during our city break in Paris. we asked the gentlemen at the hotel's reception where we can eat good meat at a reasonable price and he suggested Numidia (which is 1 minute far from our hotel).
you literally choose the meat they cook for you (you just grab it from the fridge). the food was SOO good that we went there the next day as well :D the 2 gentlemen who served us were very friendly and translated in English their menu and showed us the meat, gave us the price for each of type of meat and brought it cooked in no more than 20 minutes.
on the 2nd day I also tried Algerian dessert which was very sweet and tasty.
I highly recommend this...
Read moreCatastrophique!
