Bistrot Clara (Balard) — Restaurant in Paris

S'il y avait plus d'étoiles, je les donnerais toutes avec plaisir! Nous avons découvert ce petit bijou par pur hasard et j'en suis très reconnaissante. C'est honnêtement l'un des meilleurs accueil chaleureux que j'ai eu depuis très longtemps pour une brasserie. Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrées au Bistrot Clara jusqu'à notre départ, le service était incroyable! L'atmosphère était confortable avec cette ambiance de chez-soi. La musique était apaisante et juste ce qu'il fallait pour se détendre. Pour ce qui est de la carte, on a opté pour la « Pièce du Boucher » cuite à perfection, la sauce au poivre bien relevée, les frites maison, le confit d’oignons maison dans la salade, la mayo maison équilibrant chaque bouchée et donnant envie d'une autre… le tout ceci avec un bon verre de sauvignon (excellente recommandation du propriétaire). Les portions étaient juste ce qu'il fallait… Étant une fana de dessert et de café cela va sans dire qu’une dégustation du café gourmand s’imposait: délicieux trio de panna cota à la framboise, mousse au chocolat et crème brûlée…. Succulent!! J'ai quitté le Bistrot Clara avec une seule pensée… j’en veux encore donc à la prochaine fois. Je recommande vivement cet endroit, vous ne serez pas déçu du début à la fin! PS : promis, je ne suis en aucun cas lié au propriétaire. Ce n'est qu'un avis honnête d'un fin gourmet et d'un bon amateur de service client!

If you’re ever in Paris …. If there was more stars, I would gladly give them all! We discovered this little gem by pure chance and I’m so thankful for it. It’s honestly one of the best heartwarming welcome I had in a very long time. From the moment we stepped in Bistrot Clara to when we left the service was amazing! The atmosphere was cosy with this feel at home vibe. The music was soothing and just the right amount to relax. Now for the food … we opted for the « Piece du Boucher » cooked to perfection, the pepper sauce with a nice kick, homemade fries, homemade pickled red onions in the salad, homemade mayo balancing each mouthful and making you want another one… all this with a nice fresh and crisp glass of Sauvignon (great recommendation from the owner). The portions were just the right amount … I’m a fan of dessert and coffee so of course I had to try the café gourmand : delicious trio of raspberry panna cota, chocolate mousse and the crème brûlée …. Succulent!! I left Bistrot Clara with one thought … I want more so see you next time. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed from start to finish! We found this place by accident and it was really a native Parisian experience. Great service and atmosphere, I would love to come back. However, the food was unfortunately below expectation. I heard about this bistort through Google and the reviews were accurate. It was an amazing experience, very authentic and delicious food. The owner is extremely accommodating and we really enjoyed our meal.
