worst bubble tea ive had in a long time

i remember getting the mango fruit tea some time last year and it was bad but at least still drinkable. this time we got the brown sugar milk tea but it was so so bad it was undrinkable. way to sweet, you can even smell the sugar by just holding it an arm’s length. the consistency was so weird, it’s like sticky and milky, almost slimey… the tapioca was just as bad. also when we ordered, they asked us if we wanted our drinks hot or cold, but isn’t always brown sugar milk tea cold with hot tapioca?? i dont usually write reviews but this was so disappointing honestly don’t waste your money. what is confusing is why there are so many good reviews? but at least the workers were nice…

i usually get bubble tea in loads of places like london or los angeles or in asia and none have tasted this bad

A nice little place in Chinatown for bubble tea. The entrance area is small but there is seating upstairs. They use a pager system to have you come get your order when it’s ready. We were there when it was pretty empty so it was nice to go upstairs and find our choice of seating. The drinks we ordered were very good. The bubble tea tapioca balls were perfect. I definitely recommend this place. Clean bathroom too.

Just visited again after this first post two years ago and guess what it’s consistently good here! Love the simplicity of ordering and no gimmicky stuff. Classic boba tea and nice service. Upstairs area...

The bubble tea isn’t bad, they are using concentrate milk in a more hongkong style rather than Taiwan style where actually the bubble milkshake is coming from.

The bubbles (tapioca balls) are with good texture - chewing enough while also soft enough. The tea I’ve asked for chaud however turned out to be just warm, not warm enough. I’ve also asked for moins (less sugar) and it was deadly sweet. I’m not sure if they actually take any of the measures into consideration?

The serving was slowwww at a Sunday afternoon and the upstairs seats fully occupied. Decoration is cute and cozy enough. 4 stars...
