Rating: ★★★★★ for the food (especially the Pho), but ★☆☆☆☆ for the manager/owner.
I’ve dined here several times and always enjoyed the experience—great food and generally good service. However, during my recent lunch visit, the experience was quite disappointing due to the manager/owner’s behavior.
Instead of calmly training her new staff, she micromanaged him in a way that created a visibly tense atmosphere. Even the trainee looked stressed and uncomfortable while serving customers. As someone who understands Vietnamese, I found the tone and approach unnecessarily harsh, which made the entire dining experience unpleasant. I felt so uncomfortable that I rushed through my meal just to get out of there.
A note to the owner: please be more discreet when training staff. Don’t assume that your guests can’t understand what’s being said. If the restaurant is understaffed, consider hiring more help. When the place is busy and there’s only one staff member juggling multiple tables, stepping in to support them would go a lot further than standing by and criticizing.

Read moreFood: I chose Tôm lụi bánh hỏi, and I think the price-to-quality ratio is not very good. The portion was small, even for an Asian girl like me who doesn’t eat much. The meat and shrimp were tasteless. I think they used charcoal to grill them, which made me expect that I would taste the distinctive smoky flavor, but I couldn’t in this case. Moreover, some charcoal dust was left on the meat, which is not very healthy.
Service: I’m not sure about the other staff, but there was one staff member whose attitude was quite unfriendly. I don’t know if it was because we are Vietnamese, but her attitude toward non-Vietnamese customers was noticeably nicer.
Ambience: The restaurant felt quite small to me. I think if it's full, you’ll likely leave with a mix of food smells on your clothes, which can be unpleasant in...
Read moreWe went there as the review were good but very disappointed, food was okay but nothing more as there are so many Pho restaurant in the area, nothing was special and the service was terrible, some of serving staffs not speaking French at all and he had to call another person who came , he didn’t want to explain for the menu , I was disturbing him to ask an advise as there was too many kinds of beef pho , but he said « read the menu and I come back » very rudely. The amount of the rice noodles was huge and the soup was not so tasty that we couldn’t even finish the half of it, they could make less portion and less expensive or give a option of the quantity.
The pho price was starting 14 till 20 euro which is not cheap compared the restaurant looks quite modest. Very...
